Research programmes

In the UK over 21,000 women are diagnosed with a gynaecological cancer each year, sadly 7,700 women die. That's 21 mothers, daughters, sisters, partners, friends and colleagues each and every day. Yet despite these statistics, gynaecological cancers are little talked about and their research under-funded.

The research we fund aims to improve the prevention, risk-prediction and early detection of all five gynaecological cancers- womb, ovarian, cervical, vulval and vaginal, so that we can stop these cancers before they start.
