Despite women and people with gynae organs constituting over half of the UK workforce, their health concerns remain veiled in taboo and are often dismissed. Women and people with gynae organs spend a great deal of time managing their health, not because they’re ill, but simply because they are women. Menstrual health, cervical screening, contraception, pregnancy, menopause – these issues can impact women’s wellbeing throughout their working lives, yet 65% don’t feel comfortable talking about health issues at work*.
