21,493 new cases of gynaecological cancer every year in the UK

The Eve Appeal - Gynaecology Cancer Research Fund

Of the UK's national cancer charities, The Eve Appeal is the only one raising cancer awareness and funding research into the five gynaecological cancers – ovarian, womb, cervical, vaginal and vulval.

We provide information on the key cancer symptoms in women, guidance on treatment options, and support for those dealing with a cancer diagnosis.

Although The Eve Appeal is small in relation to other cancer charities in this country, our scope and our contribution are disproportionately large with the money we raise covering gaps in cancer research funding. With our support, research teams at leading institutions in the UK and worldwide are conducting innovative new research into cancer prevention. We fund the research teams striving for early detection and better diagnosis of cancer symptoms in women, to bring about speedier and more effective treatments.

Every day in the UK, 58 women are diagnosed with a gynaecological cancer and 21 will die. The Eve Appeal is determined to change this for the future of women everywhere.
