Yes, it costs £30 to enter per person and the registration fee is non-refundable.

Unfortunately, we are unable to take registration on the day due to health and safety reasons. Registration will close on 1 May 2027 – we encourage that you register as early as possible, so you have plenty of time to train and fundraise.

Snowdon at Night is open to anyone over the age of 18 years old. 14-17 year olds can also take part if they are accompanied by a parent / guardian and it must be 1-2-1 support i.e. one adult cannot bring two children. 

Yes, we would love for you to take part with your friends, family, or colleagues! Each person will need to register separately though, then just let us know you are taking part as a team. You are also more than welcome to come by yourself; you’ll get to meet some truly lovely people.

We’d recommend having one JustGiving page which you all use to send round to friends and family – this means if you have a similar circle of friends, you are only asking them once rather than asking them to sponsor four individual pages. 

Yes! We ask everyone taking part to aim to raise a minimum of £350, however you are more than welcome to do this together, for example a team of four can set up a team fundraising page to raise £1,400. 

If you choose the minimum sponsorship option, then you will have a fundraising target of £350. If you choose the self-funded option, you will pay £243 for your place, and you can then fundraise as much as possible (we recommend setting yourself a fundraising target of £150). Please note for the self-funded option you cannot use your sponsorship to cover the cost of your place in this challenge.

Yes, if you’re on the minimum sponsorship option then 50% of the minimum sponsorship (£175) must be received by The Eve Appeal by Saturday 10 April 2027. Failure to do so may mean non-participation in the challenge. All outstanding sponsorship must be sent to The Eve Appeal no later than four weeks following the challenge, Saturday 19 June 2027.

Every day in the UK, 60 women and people with gynae organs are diagnosed with one of the five gynaecological cancers, and sadly 21 die. Each year that’s thousands of lives lost to cancers that most people don’t know enough about, are rarely discussed, and receive nowhere near enough research funding. 
 
By taking on Snowdon at Night, you will become part of a dedicated team of supporters working towards preventing all five gynae cancers or making sure they are diagnosed early. You will play a key role in saving lives. 
 
£25 could fund one hour of our Ask Eve nurse service – offering free, confidential information and support to anyone worried about their gynae health. 
£50 could help one of our researchers to carry out vital research into the prevention and early diagnosis of gynae cancers. 

Yes! This trek is graded tough (2/3). It is a great challenge for anyone looking to take on their first trek or for anyone who has taken part in similar events previously.  

The more prepared you are for this challenge the better. Even if you are active and exercise regularly, it is good to adapt your training towards this challenge. You will be provided with a training plan from Global Adventure Challenges when you sign up. 

When you sign up you will receive a kit list from Global Adventure Challenges. This will cover everything you need to safely complete the challenge. You will need your own kit; this will not be provided by Global Adventure Challenges or The Eve Appeal.

Yes, you need to book your own accommodation for the challenge. There are plenty of accommodation options in and around the town of Llanberis. 

We do not provide transport. If you are arriving to the start venue by train, car or taxi, you will have to make your own arrangements. A full start, finish and local accommodation document will be provided in the lead up to the trek. 

We meet in Llanberis in the evening for dinner, event registration and briefing. Walking straight to the start we use the Llanberis Path and our ascent should take approximately 5-7 hours.   

We celebrate our achievements once we summit, and begin our descent using the same trail. The descent will take around 2-3 hours and upon reaching our finish line in Llanberis we celebrate with a well earned breakfast.  

It is key to be prepared for all kinds of weather. We will be keeping a close eye on the weather forecast leading up to the challenge and advise you do the same. Please make sure you bring suitable clothing and equipment for your challenge. You will be provided with a kit list from Global Adventure Challenges when you sign up. 

We hope so! But this is very difficult to predict this early on and is weather dependent.  

You will receive a hot meal before the trek, complimentary snacks like cereal bars, crisps, chocolate to take with you on the trek, and breakfast after finishing. But we do recommend packing some of your favourite snacks to give you an extra boost throughout – and don’t forget water! 

Registration will open from 11:30pm and will be taking place at the following venue: Padarn Hotel, High St, Llanberis, Caernarfon LL55 4SU. 

There is a small car park available at the start venue. Please note that car parking availability is limited and therefore car sharing or use of public transport is encouraged. 

Unfortunately not – we love dogs, but they aren’t permitted to take part with you.

Absolutely. Medical support will be available throughout the event, and you will be given a contact number when registering on the day should you need medical assistance. Please note when registering you are required to fill in a medical questionnaire, which at the discretion of Global Adventure Challenges may require a doctor’s signature. 

If you feel unwell during the trek or for any other reasons are unable to continue, please let a member of the Global Adventures Challenges / Eve team know straight away. 

There will be toilet facilities at the start venues but otherwise we will be embracing the great outdoors on this trek. 

Reaching the summit flagstone depends on how busy the summit is. We would love for you to reach the flagstone and take a photo there, but we can’t guarantee access. If the area is too crowded, we’ll take your photo from the highest point we can safely reach. 

Yes, you have up to seven days before the challenge to swap your place, however this could incur additional costs to The Eve Appeal.  

If you can no longer take part and have to cancel, then you must contact either Global Adventure Challenges or The Eve Appeal as soon as possible. You have to tell anyone who has supported your fundraising that you are no longer taking part and see if they would like a refund on their donation.

If you cancel in the 42 days before the trek (Friday 7 August 2026) we will still incur a cost for your place as arrangements will have already been made. If you cancel before this date, we will not face any costs for your place. Please note that Registration Fees are non-refundable.
