We want you to Be Gynae Aware.
The Be Gynae Aware campaign, co-created with and funded by GSK, aims to raise awareness of gynaecological health to help people become better aware of what’s normal for them and feel confident to visit their doctor to discuss their concerns.
But, how can you make sure you get the most out of the time with your GP or nurse? We have created a handy guide with top tips to help you prepare for your gynae appointment; feel confident and relaxed during discussions; and make sure you leave with the advice and support you need.
We also have the Be Gynae Aware Patient Guide available in different languages:
If you’re part of a GP practice team – whether a doctor or nurse – we’ve also created a guide for healthcare professionals to help ensure gynae appointments are as accessible and comfortable of an experience for people as possible.
Not sure what symptoms you should be keeping an eye out for? Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered with our Be Gynae Aware checklist. Scroll down to learn about the different gynae symptoms to keep track of and how to spot if something has changed!
To help you become more knowledgeable about your gynaecological health, GSK, in partnership with The Eve Appeal, have created a checklist of things women and people with gynae organs should regularly keep track of.
