Virtual Fundraising Ideas

There are many different ways you can support The Eve Appeal whilst spending time at home during the coronavirus pandemic.

We’ve put together some ideas below on how you can get involved, but you are not limited to these. We’d love to hear your ideas as well – do get in touch either by emailing fundraising@eveappeal.org.uk or by calling 020 7605 0100.

The money you raise will help to continue funding our vital programmes, including our Ask Eve service, which provides information and support on gynae health to all that need it.

Movie Night

Use the Netflix Party app to host a movie night for you, your friends, and family. Everyone logs in from the comfort of their own sofa or in the garden under the stars (if it is warm) and donate the money they would have spent on a cinema ticket to your JustGiving page.

Tea Party

Holding a virtual tea party or coffee morning is a great way to catch up with friends, family and colleagues – sign up here, pick a date during 2020, enjoy a hot drink and a slice of cake (or two) and help raise much-needed funds and awareness of gynaecological cancers.

My Challenge, My Way

Create a JustGiving page and get sponsored to run, jog or walk a 5k, 10k, half marathon or a full marathon. Your support will make all the difference. And what is great about this challenge is there are zero time constraints and it suits all abilities! Find out more here.

Climb a Mountain

Or your staircase. For example, you can climb Snowden in 4,610 steps (384 flights of stairs), Mount Blanc in 30,520 steps (2,028 flights of stairs) or Mount Everest in an incredible 58,070 steps (3,871 flights of stairs). Try it yourself or get friends, family and colleagues on board as a way of staying active during the lockdown.

Donate for Your Birthday or Anniversary

Ask for a donation in lieu of gifts for your birthday or anniversary this year. Create a Facebook fundraiser to make it easier for everyone to make their donation.

There are so many ways you can get involved during the lockdown and support The Eve Appeal – we look forward to hearing all about your virtual fundraising activities.

Thank you so much!
