GET LIPPY DAY – 17th May

Join us for GET LIPPY DAY, Friday 17th of May, in smashing taboos, talking openly and frankly about gynaecological health and raising awareness of gynae cancers.

58 women are diagnosed with one of the five gynaecological cancers every day, ovarian, womb, cervical, vaginal and vulval. Sadly, 21 of these women will die. Embarrassment is preventing women seeking help, having meaningful conversations with GPs and being diagnosed early. Join Eve in lifting the veil of shame and saving lives.

Throughout the month of May Eve Appeal have been spreading information on gynae health and top tips for getting the most of your gynae GP appointments, as well as raising funds for research into the prevention and early diagnosis of gynaecological cancers.

Today is the day we want everyone to GET LIPPY by donating to Eve Appeal and creating waves of taboo busting chat across social media. We want you to spread the message far and wide and get your friends and colleagues involved in our GET LIPPY challenge.

To GET LIPPY and get loud today, pout for purpose to support Eve and spread the message to your friends and colleagues!

Send a kiss. Text EVE LIPPY to 70577 to donate £5* and post your pout on Instagram with the hashtag #GetLippy then pass on the pout— tag 5 friends to do the same!

“I’m pouting for purpose to raise money for the @eveappeal #getlippy campaign and texting EVE LIPPY to 70577 to donate £5 to the Eve Appeal. And nominating [tag friends] to join me in raising money for Eve’s world-class research into the five gynaecological cancers. 58 women in the UK are diagnosed with one of these cancers each day and sadly, 21 women a day will die from one of them. Let’s stop these cancers before they start, let’s Get Lippy and get loud.”

The more we break down barriers and smash taboos, the more we can empower each other to take control over our gynaecological health. So GET LIPPY now!
