Challenge yourself to either give up a favourite treat (like cake) or take on a run, walk or jog, and cover 20, 50 or 100 miles. You can choose to split your challenge across the whole month (31 days) or complete it in a shorter amount of time.
No matter what you choose, you can help save lives this Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month!
You will be Making Change Happen by raising awareness of ovarian cancer, fundraising for ground-breaking research and helping ensure anyone who is concerned about their gynae health (or the health of a loved one) can get the support they need through our nurse-led information service, Ask Eve.
We’re encouraging everyone who gets involved to raise a target amount of £25 in sponsorship which could help to cover the cost of an hour’s call with our gynae specialist nurse.
Once you’ve registered, we’ll be in touch with all the information you need to get your fundraising underway as well as the link to our Facebook group so you can meet other participants.
And everyone who takes part will be sent a medal* for their amazing effort.
Thank you so much for helping Make Change Happen – and if you have any queries please do not hesitate to get in touch by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling 020 7605 0100.
*The £5 registration fee covers admin fees and the cost of your medal. You are welcome to sign up and take part without paying the registration fee, however you won’t receive a medal or access to the Facebook group. If you do pay the £5 registration fee please note there may be a delay in sending your medal out, but we will try to ensure you receive your medal by the end of May 2021.
